FROM WASHINGTON EXAMINER: Rep.Dave Min (D-CA) was slammed on Saturday after he falsely claimed the suspect in Charlie Kirk‘s assassination was “MAGA” and part of what he dubbed the “RADICAL RIGHT.”
Min made the bizarre claim on Friday, the day officials arrested 22-year-old Tyler Robinson as the suspect in the killing of Kirk. Gov. Spencer Cox (R-UT) has said it is “very clear” Robinson was “deeply indoctrinated with leftist ideology,” and one family member interviewed by officials said Robinson openly talked about his belief that Kirk was “full of hate and spreading hate.”
Still, Min has kept his post up on X as of Saturday night, which says, “Now that the Charlie Kirk assassin has been identified as MAGA, I’m sure Donald Trump, Elon Musk and all the insane GOP politicians who called for retribution against the ‘RADICAL LEFT’ will now shift their focus to stopping the toxic violence of the RADICAL RIGHT.”
Min was quickly trashed by Republicans, including the National Republican Congressional Committee.
“Unhinged conspiracy theorist Dave Min is spewing lies and exploiting a tragedy to score cheap political points. Besides being a drunk, Min is reckless, disgraceful, and a pathetic excuse for a Congressman who will say anything to distract from his own failures. Californians deserve better,” NRCC spokesman Christian Martinez said in a statement on Saturday.
It took Congressman Dave Min 24 hours to go from the bottom post to the top post.
