From Fox News: A California Democratic lawmaker was widely criticized by conservatives on social media after posting a message online telling federal agents arresting illegal immigrants in Los Angeles to “get the f— out.”

“ICE get the f— out of LA so that order can be restored,” Rep. Norma Torres posted on TikTok Friday as protests and riots were breaking out over the raids. Conservatives on social media quickly reacted to the video, accusing Torres, who was born in Guatemala and became a U.S. citizen in the 1990s, of fomenting the violence and vitriol against ICE officers that unfolded over the next few days.

Torres, 60, came from Guatemala to the United States with her uncle on a tourist visa when she was 5 years old. She finally became a legal resident in her teens, and then got her U.S. citizenship in 1992.

Torres clearly does NOT want illegal alien criminals to be deported from the United States.

Along with her vile 5-second video, Torres wrote, “Once again instability, chaos, and violence caused by ICE for the entertainment of the #TACO occupying the White House. #ICEChaos.”

In response to the video, many conservatives are declaring Torres should be arrested, deported or expelled from Congress.

James Bradley, a former U.S. Senate candidate, wrote:

Rep. Norma Torres reckless call for ICE to “get the f*** out of LA” isn’t just inflammatory—it’s illegal! Under 18 U.S.C. § 115, threatening or inciting violence against federal law enforcement, like ICE agents, is a felony, carrying up to 7 years in prison and hefty fines. Her words undermine the rule of law and endanger officers enforcing federal immigration statutes (8 U.S.C. § 1101 et seq.).

As a sitting Congresswoman, she is also flirting with violating 18 U.S.C. § 2387 by advocating interference with federal duties, which could mean up to 6 years behind bars. Angelenos deserve order, not chaos fueled by your rhetoric! The DOJ must investigate and hold you accountable—censure or prosecution is the bare minimum. She needs to step up, resign, or face the consequences! 🇺🇸 #RuleOfLaw #NoExcuses

Journalist Adam Johnston wrote, “Norma Torres was born in Escuintla, Guatemala. She gained citizenship in 1992. Now she’s openly defying U.S. Immigration Law. Understand where people like Torres’ allegiance lies. It is not with their “adopted” country. She should be expelled from Congress for this rhetoric.”

Influence Paul Szypula wrote, “Torres is a sitting member of Congress and a complete lunatic.”

Arizona state senator Wendy Rogers wrote, “Oof. Expel her from Congress.”

Jace Kitsune wrote, “Correct me if I am wrong…. but a sitting member of Congress should be a law marker right??? Surely a Slaw marker making public statements about not following the law is like going against an oath or something right?”

Baptist paster Steve Picray wrote, “I think there should be legal consequences for those people who are actively fighting against the legal actions of the federal government. Especially against those like her who are supposed to BE the federal government.”
