REPORT: ‘Call Her Daddy’ fans blast Alex Cooper over Kamala Harris interview

From the New York Post: “Call Her Daddy” host Alex Cooper enraged some of her fans over the weekend by dropping a surprise interview with Vice President Kamala Harris on her wildly popular podcast.

The podcast’s Instagram account posted a short teaser video Sunday morning showing Cooper, 30, interviewing the Democratic presidential nominee.

However, some “Daddy Gang” members were not pleased with Harris’ appearance on the show and flooded the post’s comment section to express their frustration and criticize the show for getting political.

Harris’ appearance on the podcast, which is primarily known for discussions about sex and sexual relationships, has drawn massive backlash.  Many are upset that Harris went on a sex podcast instead of speaking with the media or doing a press briefing.  Others noted that that she’s being interviewed on a sex podcast while Americans are dying from hurricanes.

I don’t think it’s the fact that the podcast happened, but the timing is godawful. You have a State going through a natural disaster and u pledge money to Lebanon but 750 to North Carolina. We want a candidate for the people not one for a sex podcast as wars are breaking out, people a dead and or missing, the border is a joke, plus a dozen other things. Maybe postpone the sex podcast a week or 2.

She’s podcasting while the country is underwater lol this is embarrassing.

Others on social media are blasting Harris over the interview as well.

The Trump War Room shared a clip from the podcast and wrote, “Kamala delivers a giant, incoherent word salad when asked why she decided to do a podcast entitled “Call Her Daddy” but not substantive interviews where she’s actually pressed on the radical positions she holds.”

Cooper asked, “I’m curious, like you don’t do too many long-form interviews; what made you want to do ‘Call Her Daddy’?”

Harris responded: “Well, I think you and your listeners have really got this thing right, which is one of the best ways to communicate with people is to be real, you know, and to talk about the things that people really care about. I mean. What I love about what you do is that your voice in your show is really about your listeners, and I think especially now, this is a moment in the country and in life where people really wanna know they’re seen and heard and, and that they’re part of a community, that they’re not out there alone, and, and so I’m really glad to be with you.”

Outkick host Clay Travis shared another clip from the Harris interview and wrote, “Kamala Harris and the Call Her Daddy chick attempt to come up with any governmental law that controls a man’s body. Both say there isn’t one. Then laugh. The correct answer is, yes, the draft. Which has cost over a million male lives in US history.”

Political commentator Meghan McCain wrote, “I have many thoughts on the Call Her Daddy appearance but my most significant takeaway is: Why do democrats continue to think the ONLY issue women vote or care about is abortion? It’s reductive, lazy and again, it is gonna slaughter Harris at the polls in swing states.”
