From the New York Post: Billionaire Warren Buffet revealed Wednesday that he will not endorse Vice President Kamala Harris or former President Donald Trump ahead of the 2024 election.

Buffett, one of the world’s richest people, had backed Democrats in three of the last four presidential elections.

A memo posted on the 94-year-old businessman’s website warned of “fraudulent claims” on social media that Buffett, the chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, had endorsed a political candidate.

“In light of the increased usage of social media, there have been numerous fraudulent claims regarding Mr. Buffett’s endorsement of investment products as well as his endorsement and support of political candidates,” the brief statement read.

“Mr. Buffett does not currently and will not prospectively endorse investment products or endorse and support political candidates,” it concluded.

The report notes that Buffet publicly supported Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012, and also endorsed Hillary Clinton’s 2016 race.  He did not endorse anyone in the 2020 race, and has now made the same decision for 2024.  After typically supporting Democrats, Buffet has given both Joe Biden and Kamala Harris the cold shoulder.

With an estimated net worth of $150 billion, Buffet, from Oamaha, Nebraska, is considered one of the most influential investors in US history. Forbes ranks him as the #5 wealthiest person in America.

Below is an undated discussion with Buffet, as he gives some life and financial advice.
