From Fox News: Former CIA Operations officer Laura Ballman says the mysterious drone sightings are ‘extremely unsettling’ as the public seeks answers on ‘Fox News Live.’

Drones sightings across New Jersey have unsettled residents for weeks with no official explanations being offered. Ballman argued that circumstances around the drone sightings suggest it may be a U.S. operation.

“Deducing the statements from [National Security spokesman] John Kirby that these drones are not operating illegally, coupled with several op-eds that have been out there in the last 24 hours about the need to look at our detection systems, makes me think perhaps this is actually a classified exercise to test either evasion technology or detection technology in urban areas,” Ballman said.

Ballman went on to say she would be “shocked” if the drones were related to the CIA, saying it is “not their mandate to operate in the United States.” She added that she is “troubled” by why the U.S. government has not been forthcoming with information regarding the drones.

Watch the interview with Ballman below:

Ballman isn’t the only one who is suspicious.

New Jersey state senator Jon Bramnick is accusing the federal government of orchestrating a large-scale coverup related to the drone incidents.

One X user, ‘Jersey Futures,’ posted a lengthy thread on social media and provided a thoughtful analysis for what they believe is behind the mysterious drone invasion.

The person does not provide their real name, but appears to have extensive knowledge about the industry.   READ BELOW:

“I’m one of the few groups of people who know exactly what the drones are in New Jersey. This tweet will likely go into the void as I have no followers, but I’ll share anyway. Please retweet for reach.

“What you’re seeing are American-made HPGe nuclear detector drones. They can detect the presence of gamma rays miles away. But what is a gamma ray? That’s the stuff we attribute to radiation, electromagnetic waves that penetrate you and can cause cancer. HPGe drones are built to inspect nuclear sites, but these ones aren’t…

“In the late 2000s, the DoD [Department of Defense] needed a response to the threat of dirty bombs from ISIS coming into our ports in NY and NJ. They’ve been stocking up on these drones for a while. Some were deployed to Ukraine when Russia threatened the use of dirty bombs. They look weird because they’re heavy and have giant Cryocoolers mounted, and giant horn antennas to communicate on mmwave frequencies that can’t be jammed.

“This is where I come in. The technology these drones use has few suppliers, both for mmwave equipment and the high purity germanium. The same suppliers that are the backbone of my industry. So what are they doing? Collecting information on how the public will react (PsyOp) and testing their ability to sweep a port city like NY for dirty bombs.

“Jersey was chosen because we’re the closest port city to NY, and NY would be too dense for reliable mmwave comms. But why is the DoD silent? Again, because in a scenario where we have a threat of a dirty bomb and the public doesn’t yet know, the DoD needs to know how the public would react if these drones were deployed to sweep a city.

“What many don’t realize is that Ukraine is the reason we’re here. That was the first time we deployed them in a combat zone, but make no mistake, they’re for protecting the homeland, as the Department of Defense bought hundreds of thousands to act as swarms capable of sweeping a city.

“I just had to get this off my chest as all day I’m hearing people genuinely afraid of the drones when they should be in awe of the capabilities we have as a country to keep us safe.

“And for nerds who know a bit about what I’m talking about, take a look at a close up of the drones. They operate in a grid both to sweep areas but also because comms are done in a mesh network operating at 200ghz+ which is very directional and needs bulky horn antennas mounted.

“Should note: [I’m] not a military expert, but spent 1/3 of my career as an RF engineer. We’re only hired in: military, telecom, and finance. I’m speculating that is is just a drill, but know exactly what those drones are. My guess is Iran situation made the drill a priority.

“Make no mistake, a dirty bomb is, or was until now, the greatest threat to America. A few going off in NYC and central LA would cripple us. The evidence we’d need to respond in kind would be impossible to get in time or at all. All our toys would be worthless with no target.

“Oh, and how do I know they’re not foreign owned? Well, because I’m confident they’re HPGe drones, but even if you didn’t believe me you can see they have bright lights on them to keep our air traffic safe – something an enemy wouldn’t care about.”

One person responded, writing, “I really hope this is what’s going [on].”

Jersey Futures replied confidently, “It is my friend. I’m sorry that truth can’t come from a more recognizable and verified source of truth – like our government. I understand why they can’t though. The threat of even the panic from a threat is a threat in itself.”

Jersey Futures also shared a warning: “Do NOT touch or approach these if they crash! I have no idea what powers them (I’m not a drone expert) and it could be something dangerous like a radioisotope generator (RTG).”
