From Breitbart: President of Argentina Javier Milei ordered the country to withdraw from the World Health Organization (W.H.O.) on Wednesday.
Presidential spokesman Manuel Adorni described the reason for the departure as “profound differences in health management” with the U.N. body. During a news conference, Adorni told reporters the decision for Argentina to withdraw from the W.H.O. was specifically a result of its poor handling of the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic.
Argentina’s exit from the W.H.O. comes after President Donald Trump signed an executive order similarly abandoning the agency. The Associated Press (AP) noted that the exit of another country from the W.H.O. “will further fracture cooperation in global health.”
Adorni added that Argentina would “not allow an international organization to intervene” in the country’s sovereignty, adding that it would especially not allow it to intervene in Argentina’s health, according to the outlet.

An official statement from President Milei reads:
The President’s Office reports that President Javier Milei has made the decision to withdraw the Argentine Republic from the World Health Organization.
The WHO was created in 1948 to coordinate the response to global health emergencies, but it failed in its greatest litmus test: it promoted eternal quarantines without scientific support when it had to combat the Covid-19 pandemic.
The quarantines caused one of the greatest economic catastrophes in world history and, according to the Rome Statute of 1998, the quarantine model could be classified as a crime against humanity. In our country, the WHO supported a globetrotter who left children out of school, left hundreds of thousands of workers without income, led businesses and SMEs to bankruptcy, and still cost us 130,0000 lives.
Today the evidence indicates that the WHO recipes do not work because they are the result of political influence, not based on science. Furthermore, it has confirmed its inflexibility to change its approach and, far from admitting errors, it chooses to continue assuming powers that do not correspond to it and limiting the sovereignty of the countries.
It is urgent to rethink from the international community that there are supranational organizations, financed by all, that do not meet the objectives for which they were created, they are dedicated to making international politics and try to impose themselves above the member countries.

In a post on his personal X account, Milei wrote, “We will never forget that they were the ideologues of the caveman quarantine that involved, according to the Rome Statute of 1998 (art 7.k), committing, in complicity with all the States that took its directives, one of the most bizarre crimes against humanity in history.”
