Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, defended herself on Instagram after facing backlash for liking a pro-Trump social media post.
Critics targeted her for engaging with an August 13 post that supported Trump’s 2024 agenda, including calls to “seal the border” and “keep men OUT of women’s sports.” In response, Mahomes challenged her detractors’ mental and emotional reactions, addressing the criticism directly.
“I mean honestly,” Mahomes. “To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood. There’s no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well.”
As for Pat Mahomes, the three-time Super Bowl champ has declined to publicly endorse a candidate.
