From Fox News: Arrests under President Donald Trump’s federal crime crackdown in Washington, D.C., have blown past 1,000 as the nation’s capital marked its 12th consecutive day without a homicide, U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro announced Monday.

Pirro said that on Sunday alone there were 86 arrests and 10 illegal guns seized, bringing the totals to 1,007 arrests and 111 guns taken off the streets.

“What does that mean? They can’t be used to shoot people, to kill people,” Pirro said Monday on “Fox & Friends,” referring to the weapons seizures. “And on top of all of that, we’ve got a government now where the people in D.C. are feeling safer. They know that there is a president who’s looking to protect them.”

Pirro announced in a video message posted on X Monday morning, “Last night in DC: 86 arrests. 10 illegal guns seized. That brings the total to 1007 arrests and 111 illegal guns off the streets. We are on our 12th day with no homicides. Under President Trump’s leadership, increased law enforcement is helping restore safety in DC. The goal is clear: a safer city for all.”

Attorney General Pam Bondi also announced on X: “Over 1,000 arrests and more than 100 illegal guns seized. Last night, another 86 arrests including multiple suspects accused of assaulting law enforcement and National Guard — and a suspected Tren de Aragua gang member. Every day of our mission we are making DC safe again.”

FBI Director Kash Patel also wrote: All federal partners are now at over 1,000 arrests under @POTUS initiative to clean up Washington DC. Latest from @FBI August 24-25:

-26 arrests involving FBI personnel
-6 gun recoveries
-5 drug seizures
-86 individuals arrested by federal partners total

Keep getting after it.
