Russian forces launched missiles, including an intercontinental ballistic missile, in a Thursday morning attack on Ukraine.
Ukraine’s Air Force reported destroying six Kh-101 cruise missiles with anti-aircraft systems. The attack targeted critical infrastructure in Dnipro. No injuries or fatalities have been reported thus far. If an ICBM were used, it would signify a major escalation and the first use of such a weapon in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
This follows Ukraine’s first use of American-supplied long-range missiles to strike Russia on Tuesday, authorized by President Biden just days earlier.
