President Donald Trump hit the ground running as soon as he was inaugurated back into office last month, signing dozens of executive orders to put his polices into action and undo much of the former Biden administration’s liberal agenda.
In turn, liberal Democrats and activists promptly started filing lawsuits, and leftist judges have responding by blocking some of Trump’s executive orders. Multiple Republican lawmakers have now pledged to file impeachment articles against some of the judges who are blocking Trump’s agenda. Some issues are expected to end up before the Supreme Court.
Below are just some examples of what President Trump is having to deal with:
Four judges so far have each blocked Trump’s executive order rescinding birthright citizenship for babies born to illegal aliens: Judge John Coughenour of Seattle, Judge Deborah L. Boardman of Maryland, District Judge Joseph LaPlante in New Hampshire, and U.S. District Judge Leo Sorokin of Boston.
District Judge Paul Engelmayer blocked most DOGE staffers from accessing records at the Treasury Department.
District Judge Mary Page Kelley blocked the 15% cap that the National Institutes of Health placed on indirect funding for research projects.
District Judge John D. Bates ordered Health and Human Services, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Food and Drug Administration to restore their websites and datasets to what they were on Jan. 30.
Multiple judges blocked the Trump order which froze much federal spending, and Judge John McConnell Jr. ordered the Trump administration to “immediately restore frozen funding.”
District Judge Carl Nichols blocked the Trump administration from putting 2,200 employees at the USAID on leave.
U.S. District Judge Amir Ali of Washington, D.C., one of the last group of radical judges confirmed by Democrats in November, has ordered the Trump administration to temporarily lift a three-week freeze of USAID funds.
Judge Brendan A. Hurson of Baltimore blocked Trump’s order restricting gender transition surgeries and hormone blockers for children.
U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson on Friday blocked the Trump administration from firing employees at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).

President Trump declared in a Truth Social post on Tuesday, “Billions of Dollars of FRAUD, WASTE, AND ABUSE, has already been found in the investigation of our incompetently run Government. Now certain activists and highly political judges want us to slow down, or stop. Losing this momentum will be very detrimental to finding the TRUTH, which is turning out to be a disaster for those involved in running our Government. Much left to find. No Excuses!!!”
The next day, President Trump wrote, “DOGE has found massive amounts of FRAUD, WASTE, INCOMPETENCE, AND ABUSE, but even knowing this, a highly political, activist Judge wants us to immediately make payment, anyway. In other words pay, even though you know the payment was fraudulently requested to be made. DOGE caught them – The Judge just doesn’t care. It doesn’t make sense!!!”
