President Biden smiled and avoided reporters’ questions during a rare public appearance on Tuesday.
Speaking at the White House, Biden discussed his “Investing in America” agenda, marking one of his few public addresses since ceding the Democratic nomination to Vice President Kamala Harris.
After closing with, “May God protect our troops,” Biden smiled and took his time gathering his things while reporters shouted questions for about a minute. They asked about issues like the Israel-Hamas ceasefire, free IVF treatment, and high grocery prices, as staff guided them out, saying, “Thank you, press.”
