Donald Trump Jr. is urging Elon Musk to buy MSNBC as Comcast considers spinning off several cable channels, including MSNBC, CNBC, E! and others, amid declining ratings.
Musk asked Trump Jr. how much it cost, prompting an answer from Podcast host Mario Nawfal: “I hear it’s about $ 8 billion for the lot of them… but if you fire Maddow, you’d instantly save $30 million a year…”
Trump Jr. then answered as well: “I mean it can’t be much. Look at the ratings.”
If the cost to buy MSNBC is estimated to be $8 billion, that leaves us with the fact that Elon Musk has a net worth of over $340 billion. The possibility for Musk to buy is quite high.
