POLL: Is ICE being too tough in their tactics to round up illegal aliens?

28

Radical, far-left Democrats have finally figured out that the Trump administration is serious about deporting millions of illegal aliens who have invaded and embedded themselves into communities across the country, and they have literally declared war on the Trump administration.

The anti-ICE protests are escalating by the day, and quickly turning into violent rioting in multiple cities, including the Minneapolis area where a protester was shot and killed after she revved her car toward an ICE agent in the street.

Amid the wild protests, ICE agents are being threatened and attacked, and many Democrat lawmakers are declaring they will not vote in favor of another dollar going toward ICE.

CBS News just released a new poll on Sunday which claims that Americans’ support for the Trump administration’s deportation program has fallen from 51% in December to just 46% in January.

CBS News wrote:

More Americans now describe ICE’s operations as too tough when stopping and detaining people, and there’s a growing view that President Trump’s deportation program is targeting more people than just dangerous criminals.

Meanwhile, Republicans overwhelmingly feel the protesters have gone too far.

In the wake of events in Minneapolis, overall support for the deportation program — which has roughly divided the nation for months — has dipped even as it continues to draw strong backing from Republicans and especially strong backing from MAGA.

And in sum, the public expresses a difference between how they see the goals of the deportation program and how it’s being carried out.

In November, a CBS poll showed that 56% of American believe ICE is being “too tough” in their efforts to detain illegal aliens. That number has jumped to 61% in the new January poll.
