Following President Joe Biden’s farewell address, incoming Trump administration’s communications team members, including Steven Cheung and Karoline Leavitt, retweeted posts on X suggesting the speech sounded prerecorded.
Although the retweets were later deleted, speculation persisted, with some pointing to Biden’s struggles during his final remarks as president. Through the occasional mumbles and word stumbles, Biden talked about his administration’s claimed achievements.
He claimed his administration led the country through one of the strongest jobs recoveries on record, helped improve infrastructure investments, supported Ukraine in winning battles, and strengthened border security. Many of these claims, along with others, have been challenged considerably on social media since the broadcast.
We want to ask you, the reader: how would you rate President Biden’s farewell speech? Answer in our poll below and share your feedback on the farewell address in the comments section.
