POLL: Do you the support U.S. taking over the Gaza Strip?

11

President Trump’s plan to take over Gaza, relocate Palestinians, and create a “Riviera of the Middle East” has upended U.S. policy and drawn global backlash.

Saudi Arabia, a key regional player, swiftly rejected the notion following Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s joint announcement at the White House. Russia, China, and European nations reaffirmed support for a two-state solution. Turkey called the proposal “unacceptable,” and France warned it could destabilize the region.

Trump, a former real estate developer, framed the idea as a post-war rebuilding effort after over 15 months of Israeli bombardment killed more than 47,000 Palestinians, according to reports. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu welcomed Trump’s “fresh ideas,” but Palestinians fear forced displacement.

We want to ask you, the reader: do you support U.S. taking over Gaza Strip? Answer in our poll below and comment your thoughts on Trump and Netanyahu’s announcement.
