President Trump signed a proclamation banning travel from select countries due to national security concerns.
The ban fully blocks entry from 12 nations:
- Afghanistan
- Iran
- Somalia
- Sudan
- Yemen
- Libya
- Haiti
- Myanmar
- Chad
- Republic of the Congo
- Equatorial Guinea
- Eritrea
Additionally, it partially restricts travelers from seven other countries:
- Venezuela
- Cuba
- Turkmenistan
- Sierra Leone
- Burundi
- Laos
- Togo
