Mixed reactions are pouring in, after President Donald Trump authorized a U.S airstrike on three of Iran’s underground nuclear facilities Saturday night.
Trump waited until the U.S. military planes were safely out of Iranian airspace, and then announced that bombs had been dropped on three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.
The bold move is the first that the U.S. has made in joining Israel in their recent war against Iran, in an effort to stop Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
Most Republicans are commending Trump for taking the action, while some are criticizing him for it.
Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) blasted out a message declaring, “This is not Constitutional.”

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) also condemned Trump for the airstrikes. Meanwhile, Democrat Sen. John Fetterman praised the action.
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) wrote, “Iran has waged a war of terror against the United States for 46 years. We could never allow Iran to get nuclear weapons. God bless our brave troops. President Trump made the right call and the ayatollahs should recall his warning not to target Americans.”
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) wrote, “Good. This was the right call. The regime deserves it. Well done, President @realDonaldTrump. To my fellow citizens: We have the best Air Force in the world. It makes me so proud. Fly, Fight, Win.”
