Over the weekend on his 54th birthday, Elon Musk slammed President Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill,” calling it “insane and destructive” just hours before the Senate voted 51-49 to advance it.

Musk warned the bill would kill millions of U.S. jobs and harm future-focused industries while propping up outdated ones. Sens. Rand Paul and Thom Tillis broke with Republicans to oppose advancing the “One Big Beautiful Bill,” prompting the president to lash out. Trump slammed Tillis in a fiery Truth Social post, calling for his removal from office, and also criticized Paul.
