With alleged would-be Trump assassin Ryan Routh now in custody, the FBI and Florida police face the task of uncovering his planning and motivations.

Former NYPD investigator Patrick Brosnan told Fox News Digital that investigators will sift through extensive data, including cellphone activity, online purchases, bank records, emails, search histories, dating apps, burner phones, surveillance footage from streets and delivery trucks, and cell tower pings.

Gene Petrino, a SWAT commander with decades of experience, said this information will help build a profile of Routh to address critical questions:

  1. Did Routh act alone?
  2. What was his motive?
  3. How did he obtain the firearm?
  4. How did he know where to position himself?

We want to ask you, the reader: do you believe the second assassination attempt was an inside job? Answer in our poll below and comment your thoughts on the possible motive.
