Last Friday, Donald Trump’s interview with Joe Rogan went viral, amassing millions of YouTube views after its first 48 hours.

The three-hour, unedited podcast offers a unique departure from typical presidential candidate interviews and has earned widespread praise from viewers.

Trump’s appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, the world’s largest podcast, has garnered over 33 million YouTube views, 1.7 million likes, and 400,000 comments. Beyond YouTube, the episode is also on Spotify and Apple Podcasts, where Rogan’s show typically attracts about 11 million listeners per episode. These numbers surpass Trump’s previous 2024 campaign podcast appearances, including his This Past Weekend interview with Theo Von, which had 14 million YouTube views.

The question now becomes if Kamala Harris will join Rogan for an episode. With that said, Rogan has given an update on his request to her campaign. In a recent tweet, Rogan explained how YouTube has been censoring his interview with Trump, followed by the reveal of Harris’ terms for an interview:

“Also, for the record the Harris campaign has not passed on doing the podcast. They offered a date for Tuesday, but I would have had to travel to her and they only wanted to do an hour. I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin. My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being. I really hope we can make it happen.”
