President-elect Donald Trump announced Sunday night that former acting ICE director Tom Homan, a seasoned law enforcement and border security expert, will serve as his administration’s ‘Border Czar.’
Homan’s role aligns with Trump’s campaign pledge to secure the border and address illegal immigration. He previously served as acting ICE Director during the first Trump administration from January 2017 to June 2018.
Homan is staunch in his beliefs on border security, legal immigration enforcement, and immediate deportations. He has been challenged by leftists for his aggressive and proactive fulfillment of “zero tolerance” with illegal immigration.
