Additionally, Israel insists on the full demilitarization of the Gaza Strip to prevent future attacks. Netanyahu emphasized that Israeli forces must maintain control over the Gaza perimeter to secure the region. He also called for the establishment of a new governance structure in Gaza, one that excludes both Hamas and the Palestinian Authority. This new administration, according to Netanyahu, must commit to peaceful coexistence with Israel.
