From Fox News: Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., married fiancée Mindy Noce Saturday in a South Carolina ceremony.

Scott, 58, and Noce, 47, were married in the chapel at Charleston’s Seacoast Church, according to local newspaper The Post and Courier. The Republican senator announced their nuptials afterward in a post on his personal X account on Saturday just before 9 p.m.

Seacoast Church’s founding pastor, Greg Surratt, one of Scott’s long-time friends and mentors, officiated the wedding. The wedding party consisted of Scott’s brother and Noce’s best friend.

Noce is an interior decorator. She has three children from a previous marriage.  The couple met through a mutual friend, and after a two-hour phone call, decided to meet to hold Bible studies together.  They reportedly plan to continue living in Charleston.

“Tonight, we promised to cherish and nourish each other and our marriage for the rest of our lives. Mindy, you’ve made me the happiest man alive. I love you,” Scott wrote in his social media post.

He then quoted the Bible verse from Matthew 19:6, which reads, “So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

On Sunday, the day after their wedding, Scott shared another photo and wrote, “One day down and forever to go.”

Former President Donald Trump announced on Truth Social, “Congratulations to my longtime friend, Senator Tim Scott, and his beautiful bride, Mindy Noce, who were married today in the Great State of South Carolina. You have a GREAT future. God bless you both!”

One wedding photo circulating on social media shows the bride and groom with former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and former Rep. Trey Gowdy.

Others attending the wedding included Republican Sens. John Thune (S.D.), Lindsey Graham (S.C.), James Lankford (Okla.), and John Barrasso (Wyo.), former Sen. Cory Gardner (Colo.), and former Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam.

Congratulations are pouring in…
