From the New York Post: Florida Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna responded to years-old footage of the Donald Trump-backing lawmaker dancing in a MAGA-themed swimsuit that resurfaced Wednesday.

The 35-year-old pol sported the suit in a 2016 video to show her support for Trump before she began serving in the House of Representatives at the start of last year.

Luna leaned into the social media stir while she blamed liberals for the unearthed images in a series of tweets.

A resurfaced video of Luna modeling the revealing one-piece MAGA-themed swimsuit was posted to X by user Dr. Phillip Oliver-Holz, who wrote, “Anna Paulina Luna should be working at my local Hooters, NOT in Congress!”

The post has gotten over 3.4 million views and has created quite a stir on social media, with some defending Luna and others condemning her.

A number of photos from Luna’s modeling days have now surfaced.

Defending Luna, one conservative X user, TaraBull, shared one photo and wrote, “You know how hard Rep Anna Paulina Luna has to work to have a body like this? These are EXACTLY the type of hardworking people we want running our country. No more fat slobs.”

Luna is now responding to all the hoopla over her old swimsuit photos.

“I’m confirming that I have indeed worn swimsuits and you can tell I am biologically a woman. #MAGA,” she quipped in one post on X.

“I was also in featured by sports illustrated and MAXIM. Designed swimsuits and women’s shirts,” Luna added.

“I have a confession to make since the TikTok Democrats are onto me : I wear bikinis to the beach and mineral sunscreen,” Luna declared.

In another post on X, Luna wrote, “There are better to do with your time than digging up modeling photos of me from almost a decade ago. The left is attempting to make this a thing yet can’t define a woman. Very low IQ behavior. Get over it.”

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin responded, “Love her @realannapaulina ❤️🔥🇺🇸.”

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) joked that she may start wearing a swimsuit too, showing the results of her primary election.

Former congressional candidate Kimberly Klacik of Baltimore replied, “There are some brains that can’t process the fact that a woman can be smart, badass & drop dead gorgeous. Keep making us proud!”

“She’s in a bathing suit haha, it’s even a one piece lol. Liberals and RINOs are insane babies..” declared conservative Matt Couch.

Luna also modeled military gear and guns, in a show of support for the Second Amendment.

“Next time you try to circulate my modeling portfolio as a “hit,” may I add the worst hit in history that I was able to fundraise off of, don’t forget this one. Yes it was for an arms company,” she announced in another slam against her critics.

Several conservatives are also pointing out the comparison of the left pretending to be so shocked over Luna’s swimsuit photos, while they’re perfectly fine with biological men in the Biden administration wearing women’s clothes.

Another person posted a video of performers twerking on stage at a Kamala Harris rally and asked, “But THIS is okay?! The double standard is unreal.”

One X user posted a photo of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on the beach and wrote, “Well if that’s the case then Nancy Pelosi shouldn’t be in Congress because of this picture. 💀.”

Nick Sortor wrote, “I still don’t understand why Anna Paulina Luna is being condemned for this. Can someone explain it to me? Do y’all want ALL members of Congress to look like Nancy Pelosi or something? 🤣”

Another X user wrote, “If John Fetterman can walk around congress looking homeless, there is no problem with a republic congresswoman wearing a bikini. Anna Paulina Luna is not wearing it inside congress! If you think I’m wrong then I’m open to a conversation.”
