New York Attorney General Letitia James posted photos on social media Saturday, touting the number of guns raked in during a “gun buyback” program in Syracuse, New York.
“Today, my office recovered 638 firearms, including 130 assault weapons, and ghost guns, at our gun buyback in Syracuse. Thanks to our partners in law enforcement for helping us get unwanted guns off our streets and out of our communities,” James announced.
Her post included photos of piles of weapons they convinced New Yorkers to turn in for cash.
