From the New York Post: Sally Field did not get what she wanted for her birthday.
The actress, who turned 78 on Wednesday, was seen outside her home in Los Angeles the morning after the presidential election, disposing of a sign in support of Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.
The “Steel Magnolias” star also trashed a sign that read, “Vote pro-choice, pro-equality, pro-democracy by November 5.”
In photos, Field was seen pulling up the signs from her yard and throwing them in the garbage bin.

Last month, Fields posted a video on her Instagram page, in a bid to drum up more support for Kamala Harris. Fields dramatically told the story of when she went to Mexico to get an abortion at the age of 17.
