PHOTO: Trump aide provides the ‘receipts’ from wild Chicago event

Longtime Trump aide Dan Scavino shared a photo of the backstage mess in Chicago on Wednesday, where Trump participated in a discussion at the National Association of Black Journalists’ Annual Convention and Career Fair.

The discussion was moderated by three Black journalists: ABC News’s Rachel Scott, Fox News’s Harris Faulkner, and Semafor’s Kadia Goba. But it turned to chaos when Scott and Goba repeatedly attacked Trump over a number of issues.

To make matters worse, the event was late getting started. Trump told the audience that the event was about 30 minutes late, because they couldn’t get their equipment to work.

Scavino, who travels practically everywhere with Trump and often posts photos and videos from his various events, confirmed that Trump wasn’t kidding.

He posted a photo of a huge mess of tangled cords, and wrote, “President Trump was not late to NABJ. He arrived on time, and patiently waited backstage while they tried to get the audio up and running—there were a few wires crossed backstage. Fact check: True.”

Some of the responses are hilarious.

“Looks like build back better to me,” one person mocked.
