Kamala Harris is being mocked on social media over a photo she posted from last week’s funeral for former President Jimmy Carter.

At the funeral, which was held on Thursday of last week, all the living presidents, and several vice presidents were all seated together in the front rows.

Harris and her husband were seated in the front row, along with Joe and Jill Biden. In the row behind her, all the former presidents were seated, including former President Barack Obama and President-elect Donald Trump, who engaged in a friendly chat while waiting for the service to start. Harris, visibly fuming, never once acknowledged Trump or spoke to him, although her husband did shake hands with Trump after the service.

On Saturday, Harris posted a photo on social media from a moment during the service, as they were all standing with their hands over their hearts.

However, the photo, whether cropped or taken intentionally in this way, cuts out President-elect and Melania Trump, making it appear as if they aren’t even there.

“President Jimmy Carter loved our country. He lived his faith, served the people, and left the world better than he found it. President Carter’s many contributions will echo for generations to come,” Harris wrote, sharing the photo two days after the funeral.

Harris is being lambasted by social media users for posting a photo that leaves out the Trumps.
