From Daily Mail: Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem left CNN host Jake Tapper speechless as she slammed him for apparent bias over Wednesday’s shooting of a Minneapolis woman by an immigration enforcement officer.
During a Sunday appearance on State of the Union, Noem was asked by Tapper if she was ‘doing a disservice’ to the ICE agent who shot Renee Good through the windshield of her car by drawing conclusions about the incident.
Noem defiantly responded that she hadn’t heard Tapper ‘say once what a disservice it’s done for Mayor Frey to get up and tell ICE to get the F out!’

She was referring to Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, who went on an expletive-ridden rant after the shooting, demanding that ICE agents leave the city.
Tapper also grilled Noem about calling Good a “domestic terrorist” and defending ICE officer Jonathan Ross within hours of the shooting.
“Everything that I’ve said has been proven to be factual,” Noem replied. “[I] decided that the department and the people of this country deserve to know the truth of the situation of what has unfolded in Minneapolis.”
Tapper asked Noem about her claim that ICE officers “were attempting to push out their vehicle, and a woman attacked them and those surrounding them and attempted to run them over.”
“That’s not what happened,” Tapper said.
“It absolutely is what happened,” Noem replied. “[She] blocked the road for a long time and was yelling at them and impeding a federal law enforcement operation.”
Tapper asked if Good was possibly “trying to move her car and flee and get away.”
“The facts of the situation are that the vehicle was weaponized, and it attacked the law enforcement officer,” Noem said. “[Good] defended himself, and he defended those individuals around him.”
“When there is something that is weaponized to use against the public and law enforcement, that is an act of domestic terrorism,” she added. “You don’t get to change the facts just because you don’t like them.”

The internet went wild with praise. One fan said Noem “just absolutely crushed Jake Tapper.”
Frey was also asked about Noem’s criticism of him when he appearance on CNN Sunday, and he pushed back on the idea that his rhetoric needed to change.
The mayor told Tapper “this was a federal agent recklessly using power that ended up in somebody dying.”
