Time Magazine posted a photo of its latest cover, and it set Twitter (X) on fire.

Here is the tweet from Time, which has been shared 3.2 million times in less than 24-hours:

The article, which can be accessed by clicking here, is titled, “Inside Biden’s Debate Disaster and the Scramble to Quell Democratic Panic.”

One paragraph in the article sizes up the entire situation in a nutshell:
Panic is not too strong a word to describe the sentiment that coursed through the Democratic Party from top to bottom as the debate unfolded. “What the actual f— is happening?” one Democratic fundraiser texted. Across the room another sent along something of a distress call and a hostage video at once: “This won’t be as bad for voters as it is for us, right?” From progressive to pragmatist, the verdict among Democrats was perhaps the most united the party’s upper ranks have been in decades. “Unintelligible must have been the [closed captioning],” for the entirety of Biden’s performance, another senior Democrat strategist mused. “It would have been the most honest.” Almost immediately after it was over, Democrats started asking whether and how Biden could be convinced to bow out for the good of the party, for the nation, and for the candidate himself.

As DML wrote earlier today in his FUTURE READY op-ed, Biden can be replaced.  However, as DML points out, Biden and his wife will have to agree to step-down.  The 81-year-old shows no signs of doing such a thing.  So, yes, PANIC, is a great description of what’s taking place in Democrat land.

REACTION:

Meanwhile, White House aides have reported that President Joe Biden is most engaged and performs best between 10am and 4pm, with many of his public events scheduled during these hours. Outside of this time frame, particularly late in the day or while traveling abroad, Biden is more prone to verbal miscues and fatigue. This information has sparked discussions about Biden’s ability to fulfill the demanding duties of the presidency, with some questioning his fitness for a potential second term.
