From Fox News: Two suspected Tren de Aragua gang members and Venezuelan nationals have been released from custody on $1,000 bond, according to police.

Nixon and Dixon Azuaje-Perez were arrested by Aurora Police in relation to a July 28th shooting on charges of evidence tampering.

According to a spokesperson for Aurora PD in an email to Fox News Digital, “they both posted $1,000 bond.”

The bond release goes directly against ICE, which had requested detainers for both Nixon and Dixon.

Nixon and Dixon Azuaje-Perez, were both caught crossing the border into the United States at Eagle Pass, Texas on August 22, 2023. They were given notices to appear and released into the country while awaiting their court dates.

The New York Post revealed that the pair entered the US using the CBP One app, “even though they lacked proper documents to be allowed in.”

Former Denver ICE director John Fabbricatore of Colorado, who is running for US Congress, said in disgust, “Sanctuary cities do not protect United States citizens, they only protect criminals. As we see in this case, where two individuals that were let in on the CBP One app were involved in a shooting and were released due to sanctuary policy, and ICE was not notified. Two men who will go back into the community and potentially commit more crimes.”

“So they jailed Tren de Aragua gang members and then refused to contact ICE when they bonded out after being undercharged and given a meager bond. Sanctuary jurisdiction hurts US citizens!” Fabbricatore wrote on social media.

Danielle Jurinsky, an Aurora City Council member who has been screaming from the rooftops over the deadly gang’s presence in Aurora, told Fox News, “At some point, the city of Aurora and the state of Colorado have got to get serious about this. This is just a shame. I’d like to know what the Aurora PD has planned to monitor these two now they’ve been released on bond.”

The Aurora Police Department had just announced the arrest of four gang members on Wednesday. Now the courts have already turned two of them loose.

Majority of deadly TdA gang members entered during Biden-Harris administration

Fox News reporter Bill Melugin announced on Friday: “The overwhelming majority of the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang members ICE has given us info on first crossed illegally into Texas in ’22 & ’23, then were released into the US by the Biden admin. The same Biden admin that repeatedly sued TX for trying to secure its own border.”

Lt. Chris Olivarez, a spokesperson with the Texas Department of Public Safety, added:

Tren de Aragua (TDA) remains the single largest threat to public safety & national security as the gang has been able to infiltrate the US through the southern border. They have been involved in numerous crimes throughout the country, from thefts, robberies, assaults, sex crimes, extortion, and murder.

Some argue TDA accounts for a small percentage of violent crimes but the fact is that there should be ZERO crimes against the public as this gang should not have been able to expand their presence in the US as a result of catch & release policies. One victim is too many, one life lost at the hands of this criminal gang is inexcusable.

The State of Texas through Gov. @GregAbbott_TX’s Operation Lone Star will not back down & remain committed to combating TDA & rid its presence in the Lone Star State. We must ensure public safety, not just for fellow Texans, but for the Nation. #TexasHoldTheLine
