From Daily MailIt is, without doubt, one of the most feared cancers. Pancreatic cancer has earned that reputation not just for how many lives it claims, but for how swiftly it can advance before patients realize anything is seriously wrong.

In its early stages, symptoms are vague and easily dismissed: a dull back ache, intermittent indigestion, unexplained fatigue, subtle yellowing of the eyes or skin that comes and goes.

Doctors often describe it as a cancer that ‘whispers’ rather than shouts – and by the time it finally makes itself heard, it is frequently a death sentence. Its stealth is what makes pancreatic cancer uniquely dangerous.

Patients report vague symptoms, including that something is “off,” including persistent abdominal or back pain, unexplained weight loss, changes in digestion, overwhelming fatigue, or itching.

Doctors recommend staying away from smoking, heavy alcohol use, environmental hazards such as pesticides, red and processed meats, and ultra-processed foods such as breads that contain certain emulsifiers.
