OFF THE RAILS: Newsom makes WILD claim about 2028 election [Video]

Where’s the ‘misinformation czar’ when you need one?

During the Biden administration, conservatives were repeatedly censored and kicked off social media platforms over claims of spreading ‘misinformation,’ if they posted any contrasting views about the origins of Covid, opposition to vaccines, the 2020 election, and other topics liberals didn’t agree with.

But now that President Donald Trump has won back the White House, Democrats are repeatedly spewing wild and untruthful claims, while touting their free speech rights.

California Governor Gavin Newsom made an appearance on The Late Show with liberal host Stephen Colbert Tuesday evening, and bizarrely claimed that President Donald Trump is trying to “rig” the elections. Newsom even went so far as to claim there may not even BE a 2028 election.

“We got crushed in this last election, and now we’re in a position where we are struggling to communicate. We’re struggling, to win back now, the majority in the House of Representatives. And that’s a big part of what I’m doing… not just today in terms of the work out here, raising money, but also raising awareness around how Donald Trump is trying to rig the midterm elections and how I fear that we will not have an election in 2028.  I really mean that. And the core of my soul, unless we wake up to the code red, what’s happening in this country, and we wake up soberly, to how serious this moment is,” the Democrat governor told Colbert.

Newsom further doubled down, posting a video clip of his wild comments on his X page.

Even more jaw-dropping, Newsom began his remarks to Colbert by explaining that California has formed an alliance with other Democrat-led states, and are advancing an independent, scientific review panel to “counter the mis- and dis-information” coming from the Trump administration’s CDC and NIH.
