OF ALL PEOPLE!: Casey Anthony, ‘America’s most hated mom,’ accuses ICE of committing crimes, slams Vance

5

Casey Anthony, often dubbed “America’s most hated mom,” slammed federal authorities in a recent Substack letter to Vice President JD Vance, accusing the administration of shielding U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents from accountability in the Killing of Renee Good death of 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good.

Anthony called the shooting a crime that should be investigated like any other officer-involved incident and demanded the release of reports and any body-camera footage.

“There is no such thing as a federal law-enforcement officer having immunity because it is convenient for you and this Administration,” Anthony wrote. “This applies to your Gestapo agents in ICE.”

Anthony accused federal officials of keeping the case under exclusive federal review instead of letting Minnesota authorities lead the investigation, and she also criticized the U.S. Department of Justice and the administration for misrepresenting how the probe has been handled.

“We are watching. We are holding our government officials accountable,” Anthony wrote, arguing that federal law-enforcement agents should be held to the same standards as civilians. She cited what she described as multiple recent shootings involving federal officers and questioned whether victims and their families were receiving justice.

The fatal shooting happened during an Immigration and Customs Enforcement enforcement operation in south Minneapolis, where an ICE agent killed Good in her vehicle. Federal officials have said the agent acted in self-defense after the vehicle threatened officers. State and local officials have raised questions about the incident and pressed for more transparency, including the release of evidence and investigative materials, and some have called for independent investigations into the use of force.

Anthony, now 38, was acquitted in 2011 in the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee. A jury convicted her of lying to police but cleared her of murder, aggravated manslaughter, and aggravated child abuse. Despite the acquittal, Anthony has remained a polarizing figure and the subject of numerous documentaries and TV series.

Her daughter’s death, to this day, is deemed unsolved.
