Former President Barack Obama is trying to stop President Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill from being passed by Congress.

Obama blasted out a statement on X Wednesday afternoon, urging people to call their congress member and tell them to vote against the bill.

The bill narrowly passed in the U.S. Senate on Tuesday, and is now being considered in the House of Representatives once again, due to changes made by the Senate.

Obama wrote:

More than 16 million Americans are at risk of losing their health care because Republicans in Congress are rushing to pass a bill that would cut federal funding for Medicaid and weaken the Affordable Care Act.

If the House passes this bill, it will increase costs and hurt working class families for generations to come. Call your representative today and tell them to vote no on this bill.

Conservatives are pounding Obama over his post.

Wall Street Apes wrote, “The only people impacted by Medicaid cuts are illegals and Americans who are able bodied, not on disability, and just don’t want to work. Don’t listen to a word the compulsive liar Barack Obama says.”

Gunther Eagleman wrote, “We don’t want to pay for LAZY FCKS that sit on the couch all day. I know you try to pander to the poor inner cities, but you fcked them more than anything else. You are, by far, the worst president in American history.”

Another X user mocked, “We will just repeat your lie and tell everyone ‘If you like your health care plan, you’ll be able to keep your health care plan.'”

And from Nick Neifert: “Like we lost our healthcare when you lied to us and told us if we liked our plan we could keep it and if we liked our doctor we could keep them as well? Asking for every single American you screwed over.”
