Jill Biden posted a video statement on social media Thursday evening, just after the news broke that her 81-year-old husband, Joe Biden, has allegedly been persuaded to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race.

The video clip features Mrs. Biden speaking at an Italian Sons and Daughters of America Dinner in Pittsburgh, PA on Saturday. She touts that she is the first “Italian-American First Lady.”

Along with the video, she wrote, “Loyalty. Kindness. Grit. These values were passed down to me by my great-grandparents, and I carry them with me everywhere I go! ♥️”

“Our ancestors beautifully wove our culture into the fabric of this country, and I’m proud to carry that legacy forward,” she added.

It is uncertain why Jill Biden waited so long to post the video, since her speech was five days ago.  However, she is getting scorched on social media.
