FROM WASHINGTON EXAMINER: White House border czar Tom Homan denied any criminal wrongdoing over reports that he accepted $50,000 in bribes from former President Joe Biden’s FBI.
In a Monday appearance on Fox News, host Laura Ingraham asked Homan for a response to reports he had taken $50,000 from an undercover FBI agent.
Homan did not speak to the veracity of the reports but said he was glad the Department of Justice said no criminal wrongdoing had occurred.
“I did nothing criminal. I did nothing illegal. And this is hit piece after hit piece after hit piece. And I’m glad the FBI and DOJ came out and said … that nothing illegal happened and … no criminal activity,” Homan began. “You’re talking about a guy who spent 34 years enforcing the law.”
Holman said he left a “very successful business” to go back to government pay when he assumed the role of border czar.
“Not only did I sacrifice … my family sacrifices. I make sacrifices every day. I get more death threats than anybody,” Homan said.
