From The HillRep. Jason Crow (D-Colo.) has been contacted by the Department of Justice (DOJ) over his appearance in a video with five other Democratic lawmakers released last fall.

The video, in which lawmakers told members of the military they can refuse illegal orders, followed President Trump’s decision to carry out deadly boat strikes in the Caribbean. These comments have drawn the ire of the president, who accused the involved legislators of “seditious behavior.”

Crow said in a statement shared with The Hill on Wednesday, “Donald Trump called for my arrest, prosecution, and execution—all because I said something he didn’t like.

“Now he’s pressuring his political appointees to harass me for daring to speak up and hold him accountable,” he continued. “I won’t be intimidated and will keep fighting to uphold my oath to the Constitution and defend our country.”
