Jennifer Davis, the wife of the late Army Master Sgt. Matthew Livelsberger who took his own life and blew up a Tesla Cybertruck in front of a Trump hotel in Las Vegas on New Year’s day, is now speaking out.

Livelsperger, an active duty Green Beret who was home on leave from Germany, lived with his wife and baby daughter in Colorado Springs. He reportedly rented the Cybertruck in Denver, and drove it to Las Vegas, where police say he pulled in front of the Trump International Hotel, detonated explosives in the truck, and shot himself in the head.

In the days leading up to the horrific incident, Livelsperger had reached out to both retired U.S. intelligence officer Sam Shoemate, as well as podcast host Shawn Ryan, a former Navy SEAL and CIA contractor. He had told Ryan he wanted to be a whistleblower, and had sent Shoemate a ‘manifesto’ of sorts in an email.

Livelsberger had also stated that he believed the feds were following him, and indicated the U.S. military had committed a huge coverup on a strike in Afghanistan in 2019.

However, many questions remain unanswered.

Sunday evening, fellow Green Beret veteran Matt Tardio released a statement from Liveslberger’s wife, Jennifer, who said she also has many unanswered questions. However, Jennifer debunked multiple rumors and disinformation which had been circulated, and denied reports that she and her husband were having marital problems, or that the baby wasn’t his.

Below is an approved statement from Jennifer Davis, Matthew Livelsberger’s Wife. After reading it, please consider donating to the GoFundMe which is set up to assist Jenn and her daughter in their time of need.

Jennifer has agreed to an interview telling her side of the story which has not been told to the media. The interview will be published on the Youtube Channel linked in my bio. She will be allowed to speak her mind and has the final say on its release. Once approved by her, it will be released sometime this week.

Below is Jennifer’s full statement:

My name is Jennifer Davis, the widow of Matthew Livelsberger. I have kept silent until now because I, like all of you, have been in a state of pure shock and denial. The only reason that I have decided to break my silence is because I know that I owe it to our daughter.

In our world of endless internet opinions our daughter needs a post somewhere that speaks the truth of her father.

The truth is we were Matt’s entire world. He loved being a father. We shared our very first Christmas as parents together with our beautiful daughter this year. The way that he adored his daughter was something so unexplainably beautiful. The way he cared and attended to my every need before I could even ask or think, was just one of his endless qualities that have already birthed so many tears of mine in his absence. He loved both of us dearly and deeply. He was selfless and thoughtful. He shielded us and protected us to the very end.

My husband’s military career and service is and was exemplary and speaks for itself. He was a dedicated soldier and loved his family and his brotherhood with every ounce of his being. Matt was a hero among men who dedicated his whole life to serving our country. And he will be remembered as such.

I want to clearly and directly address several pieces of misinformation that have been recently released about my husband and family. First and foremost, Matt and I were in love and committed to our marriage. We had plans and a future with so many dreams that now will be just a memory to seal for our daughter. Matt was not only excited about our future together, but the future of his career and the new job that he had started; and, in no uncertain terms, did we have any plans or intentions of breaking up or separating. Additionally, the paternity of our daughter was never in question and certainly was not an issue in our marriage. I hate even having to clarify that fact as I find that lie personally slanderous and offensive. I want to be clear for my daughter’s sake, the DNA was pulled and verified as a match.

Losing my husband has been the most devastating event of my life. Knowing my daughter’s life will never be the same and will never really know her father, is more than I can process. As you can imagine, the added complexity and public nature of this adds a level of pain and stress that no one can prepare you for.

I sit here today still in the unknown, wishing so badly I could go back to our wonderful first and last Christmas that we shared together. As the days have passed, I still do not have the answers that so many of you are looking for. I am desperately searching for them as well.

While my daughter and I mourn our hero we ask for privacy please. Thank you.

In another post Monday morning, Tardio posted screenshots of communications from Livelsperger in the days leading up to the explosion and his death. Tardio wrote:

Look Deeper… Log of Matthew Livelsberger – Dec. 28:
“I took an immediate trip to “REDACTED” to get some bags and tannerite and was followed there, into the store, and back home.”

Analysis:

Everyone assumed Matt was texting and bragging to his ex about his CyberTruck. We also assumed the Army PAO told Shawn Ryan the truth as well.

The redacted location from the released document is likely Sportsman’s Warehouse. We know this from screenshots of text conversations Alicia Arritt posted online which allegedly were sent from Matt on Dec 29th.

If you notice, Matt sent her 4 pictures of the Cybertruck in front of Sportsman’s Warehouse. They happen to capture 360 degrees around his vehicle. Odds are he sent those images to make sure they were documented and leaked to the public. Chances are, whoever he believed was following him is also in those images.

Tardio is asking some serious questions. On Saturday, he wrote:

Professional Opinions Wanted. This is the crime scene photograph of Matthew Livelsberger’s passport provided by LVMPD.

Can someone with a degree in fire science explain how things can be burnt to that degree underneath without effecting the passport?

Very early Monday morning, Tardio posted a clip from a discussion between Ryan and Shoemate, and wrote, “Last night I posted an official statement from Jennifer Davis, the Wife of Matthew Livelsberger.

“Bottom line, according to statements in the video, it would appear the Army Chief of Staff’s PAO attempted to leak false information to the Press on Jan. 2nd.”

Below is the profile photo Livelsberger posted to his Facebook page on September 10.
