While America anxiously awaits the announcement on who Trump has chosen for his running mate, the process of elimination has begun, as two top contenders have reportedly received phone calls Monday that they have NOT been chosen.
According to Trump and RNC officials, the announcement will be made at the Republican National Convention just after 4:30 pm Monday.
Meanwhile, Reuters reported Monday afternoon that Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) has received a phone call informing him that he will not be Trump’s running mate.

Soon after, Fox News reporter Paul Steinhauser announced that he has been told that North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum has also received a call informing him that he has not been chosen.
