As the catastrophic Hurricane Milton is roaring toward Florida, former President Donald Trump is allowing 275 electric lineman to stay at his hotel for FREE.
The Trump National Doral Hotel is located in Miami, Florida, one of the few areas in Florida that is not in the direct path of the oncoming hurricane. This is where some linemen are waiting it out, and will be ready to go to work restoring power after the hurricane passes through.
Eric Trump posted a video on social media Wednesday and announced, “Honored to have 275 incredible linemen from FPL at @TrumpDoral as they get ready to respond to the aftermath of Hurricane #Milton! You are amazing and the Trump Family, and entire state of Florida, appreciates you! Enjoy the rooms – they are the best in Florida! Be safe! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸.”
In the video, it appears room keys are being passed out.

Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) reacted, writing, “Thank you @realDonaldTrump for generously hosting hundreds of linemen and helping make sure they are well-positioned to immediately begin power restoration after Hurricane #Milton.”

X user Debbie Brannon wrote, “Thank you Eric and all your family for doing this. These linemen have a dangerous job but they step up and answer the call everywhere the US needs them. It was sad seeing linemen in NC sleeping on the ground next to their trucks trying to get a little rest before starting again.”

I was at Trump Doral in Miami and took this video.
he is housing nearly 300 Florida linemen for free at his Miami resort ahead of Hurricane Milton’s landfall. https://t.co/RSz8tsEzzR pic.twitter.com/Upz5HODLyQ— 🇺🇲🔥PrConservative🔥🇵🇷 (@pr_conservative) October 9, 2024
But… would you believe it…. some leftist is already complaining that they don’t see any Hispanic linemen in the video. Check this one out:
Now I know someone who’s a manager at FPL. He wants to know what happened to the Hispanics ie mostly Cuban-Americans that make up 30% of the FPL workforce? I guess it wouldn’t look good on MAGA sites having ‘Mexicans’ on the video. Wouldn’t play well in KKK country https://t.co/8nWzLXmbTB
