President Donald Trump is going after the radical Antifa activist group that has created havoc in cities across America, and says he will officially labeled them as a terrorist organization, and anyone funding them will be investigated.
Trump made the announcement in a Truth Social post Wednesday night. He wrote:
“I am pleased to inform our many U.S.A. Patriots that I am designating ANTIFA, A SICK, DANGEROUS, RADICAL LEFT DISASTER, AS A MAJOR TERRORIST ORGANIZATION. I will also be strongly recommending that those funding ANTIFA be thoroughly investigated in accordance with the highest legal standards and practices. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) praised the decision, writing, “Antifa has gotten away with its evils and terrorized cities across our country for far too long. This was 100% the right move. Thank you, @POTUS!”

DMLNewsApp founder and podcast host Dennis Michael Lynch posted a video statement, explaining the huge impact this will have. He noted that any funding or assets they have can be seized, and if the Antifa members are illegal aliens, they could face immediate deportation.

While speaking to reporters in the Oval Office on Monday, President Trump had indicated that he would like to designate Antifa as a terror organization.

Many Republicans are cheering the move.
“This is a game changer,” wrote Texas Gov. Greg Abbott.
Author Peter Boghossian declared, “This is long overdue.”
Sebastian Gorka wrote, “If you threaten the fabric of the Republic, if you use violence for political ends in contravention of the Constitution, you are a terrorist and President @realDonaldTrump will treat you as such.”
Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) wrote, “ANTIFA is like a group of arsonists masquerading as firefighters. Thank you, President Trump, for designating ANTIFA as a major terrorist organization.”
