The far-left Texas Democrat candidate hoping to flip a Republican-held seat in the U.S. Senate has so many radical views it’s becoming hard to list them all.
An old social media post back in 2022 reveals that James Talarico wanted Joe Biden to convert federal buildings into abortion clinics. He also wants to abolish the electoral college and the filibuster. And he believes that conservatives are the “radical minority.”
From the Daily Caller: Democratic Texas Senate nominee James Talarico called on former President Joe Biden to use federal buildings as abortion clinics in Republican states in a resurfaced 2022 social media post.
Talarico, who defeated Texas Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett in the state’s Democratic primary on Tuesday, wrote on X that “the Supreme Court stole our rights.” The Supreme Court overturned Roe V. Wade in 2022 when it ruled in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization that the U.S. Constitution “does not confer a right to abortion” and gave the states the ability to determine abortion laws.
“Republicans stole the Supreme Court, and the Supreme Court stole our rights,” Talarico wrote. “We can’t just stand by and watch. I’m calling on @JoeBiden to use federal buildings to provide abortion care to women in red states,” he continued.
In his letter to Biden, Talarico claimed that “an anti-choice minority has taken advantage of the undemocratic loopholes in our political system to impose their radical program on our country.”
“This minority is threatening our most basic rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness,” he raged.
Talarico begged Biden to take the following executive actions to protect the right to an abortion:
- Leasing federal property to abortion clinics on federal lands or in federal offices
- Prohibiting states from imposing restrictions on abortion medication through the Food and Drug Administration
- Hiring abortion providers as federal employees to provide immunity from state lawsuits.
“We must act. Women in states like mine will die if we do not,” he fumed.
Republicans stole the Supreme Court, and the Supreme Court stole our rights.

But that wasn’t the end of Talarico’s radical demands. In additional posts he added:
Ultimately, the only way to save American democracy is to abolish the undemocratic loopholes in our system—like the electoral college and the filibuster—and re-establish majority rule.
But women need abortion care *now*.
