From the New York Post: A surviving senior Iranian leader issued a chilling threat against President Trump early Tuesday in response to the commander-in-chief’s own warning of a massive escalation of “Death, Fire and Fury.”
Ali Larijani, head of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, shared a Tuesday night Truth Social post by Trump in which the president threatened to hit Iran “TWENTY TIMES HARDER” if it thwarted oil supplies.
“Iran does not fear your paper threats,” Larijani wrote defiantly on X.
“Even those greater than you could not eliminate the Iranian nation,” he wrote. “Watch out for yourself — lest you be eliminated!”

In a second post, Larijani doubled down, writing, “The Ashura-loving Iranian people do not fear your hollow threats; for those greater than you have failed to erase it… So beware lest you be the ones to vanish.”

Last Saturday, March 7, Larijani threatened, “We won’t let #Trump off the hook; he must pay the price—he’s martyred our leader and our people. This isn’t a simple matter; we won’t let it go until we retaliate in kind.”

Also on Saturday, Larijani falsely claimed, “Several American soldiers have been taken prisoner. However, they are promoting a misleading narrative claiming that five or six American soldiers have been killed. Then, in no time, as time passes, they gradually increase the number of the dead, under various pretexts, such as incidental accidents or fabricated incidents.”
In fact, the six American soldiers were killed, and their bodies have already been returned to the U.S. A 7th soldier later died, and his body returned to the U.S. Monday night.

On March 4, Larijani raged, “Mr. Trump, with Netanyahu’s clownish antics, dragged the American people into an unfair war with Iran. Now let him do the math: with over 500 American troops killed (in these past few days), is it still “America First,” or “Israel First”?”
“The saga continues. The martyrdom of Imam Khamenei will exact a heavy price from you. God willing.”
