BREAKING NEWS…. IT’S AN ENDORSEMENT FOR TRUMP… WITH A TWIST!

UPDATE #3: Speaking at a press conference in Arizona Friday afternoon, independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced that he is not “terminating” his presidential campaign, but is “suspending” it, and explained a plan to join forces with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

He said “Trump has asked to enlist me in his administration.”

In his lengthy speech, Kennedy ripped into the Democrat Party, saying, “I left that party in October, because it had departed from the core values that I grew up with.”

He praised the thousands of volunteers who have worked with him to collect a record-breaking number of signatures to get on the ballot, and blasted the Democrat Party for their many lawsuits trying to stop him.

Kennedy slammed the DNC for appointing Biden’s successor, without even an election, and called out the media for engineering a surge of popularity for Harris.

He noted that the Democrats mentioned Trump 147 times just in the first day of the DNC – while Biden was only mentioned twice in the entire RNC event and said, “Who needs a policy when you have Trump to hate?”

Kennedy also slammed the Democrat Party for their censorship of social media, and ripped into the Biden administration for colluding with social media outlets to censor his content.

“Many months ago, I promised I would withdraw from the race if I became a ‘spoiler,’” he said, adding that he cannot ask his volunteers to keep working if he doesn’t have a real path to the White House.

In an unusual twist, Kennedy said he will remove his name from the ballot in about 10 battleground states, to keep from being a spoiler for Trump, but encouraged people to still vote for him in the states where he is on the ballot.

Kennedy shared information about multiple meetings he has had with Trump and his family over the past few weeks, and said Trump suggested they join forces as a unity party. He acknowledged that they have differences in some areas, while they are aligned on many others, including securing the border, and getting the US intelligence agencies out of censoring Americans.

Kennedy also elaborated on the war in Ukraine, and shared many details behind it that has not been reported by the mainstream media.

UPDATE #2: From the Associated Press: Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s campaign said in a Pennsylvania court filing Friday that he’s endorsing Donald Trump for president.

The campaign also requested that he be removed from the Pennsylvania ballot, though it wasn’t immediately clear that he was officially dropping out of the race. It came a day after he sought to be removed from Arizona’s ballot. He is running as an independent.

Kennedy is set to speak in Arizona shortly “about the present historical moment and his path forward,” according to his campaign. Hours later, Trump will hold a rally in neighboring Glendale. Trump’s campaign has teased that he’ll be joined by “a special guest,” though neither campaign responded to messages about whether Kennedy would be that guest.

UPDATE #1: Kennedy’s press conference has now been pushed back to 2:30 pm ET.

ORIGINAL REPORT: 

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is scheduled to make a major announcement from Arizona about his campaign at 2:00 pm ET Friday.

This comes after Kennedy’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, revealed in a podcast interview on Tuesday that they were considering the option of dropping out and endorsing the Republican presidential nominee, former President Donald Trump.

On Wednesday, Kennedy’s campaign announced, “Independent Presidential Candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will address the nation live on Friday about the present historical moment and his path forward.”

Trump has said he would welcome Kennedy’s endorsement.  Trump is scheduled to hold a rally in Glendale, Arizona Friday, at 4:00 pm local time / 6:00 pm ET.  It is being speculated that if Kennedy drops out of the race and endorses Trump, he may appear at Trump’s rally in Glendale.

A statement on Trump’s campaign website reads:

President Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America, and Turning Point Action to Hold a Rally in Glendale, Arizona on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 4:00PM MST.

President Trump will be joined by a special guest as he delivers remarks about his America First policies and his vision to lower inflation and the cost of living, secure the border, and make our cities safe again.

Fox News reported that Kennedy has now withdrawn his name from the ballot in the battleground state of Arizona.

Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes announced in a social media post late Thursday evening, “RFK Jr.’s campaign filed official paperwork with our office today withdrawing him from AZ’s 2024 election. That filling will be available on our website tomorrow at AZSOS.gov.”

Kennedy’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, announced in a social media post Friday morning, “I’m not a Kamala Democrat. I’m not a Trump Republican. I’m an INDEPENDENT American who is endorsing ideas, not a person or a party. I will continue working to give a voice to the voiceless and bring power back to the people.”

On Thursday, Shanahan wrote, “My old Dem buddies have been flooding me with frantic calls, texts, and emails. Unlike Ro, I wouldn’t dream of airing those private conversations publicly, but the message is clear: they’re terrified of the idea of our movement joining forces with Donald Trump. When I point out what the Democratic Party and their super PACs have done to sabotage our campaign, their response is always, “but Trump is worse.” Here’s an idea: stop suing us. Let us debate. Quit rigging the media and the polls. It’s a simple formula, people—get with it.”

Shanahan is warning that Kamala Harris represents “Communism 101.”

“She is the ultimate puppet for an organization that has, I believe, since President Obama not actually run real people. They have selected amongst a very small group of individuals that they can control and dictate policy over…She uses messaging in a way to get populations of young unknowing innocent people to join her on these false virtue signal ambitions and take on policies that will eventually really hurt them in the future,” Shanahan said in a recent interview.

Shanahan added, “My mother is from communist China, and I grew up hearing about what the famine was like in communist China.”
