NEWS ALERT: Police identify shooter at private Christian school

From Fox News: Police identified the shooter who they said opened fire inside a private Christian school in Madison, Wisconsin, killing a teacher and teen student and injuring six others on Monday.

Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes said 15-year-old Natalie Rupnow, who goes by Samantha, opened fire inside Abundant Life Christian School.

Barnes said the shooting took place during study hall with multiple grades in the room.

Police said evidence suggests the shooter died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Barnes added officials are speaking with Rupnow’s father, who he said is cooperating with police.

Rupnow used a handgun in the shooting.

According to police, a second-grade teacher called 911 at 10:57 a.m. to report the shooting. (Barnes first mistakenly said a second-grade student had placed the 911 call.)

As of Monday night, two students are reportedly in critical condition with life-threatening injuries, while one teacher and three other students received non-life-threatening injuries. Two of those were released from the hospital Monday evening.

The police chief said the school does not have a resource officer or metal detectors, but does have cameras and other ‘security protocols.’

Joe Biden released a statement, with another push for gun control. TeamDML.com founder Dennis Michael Lynch noted that “Biden literally pardoned his own son on gun charges.”

Police Chief Barnes said he was aware of an alleged manifesto circulating on social media but couldn’t confirm its accuracy yet.

Someone claiming to be Rupnow’s boyfriend had made multiple posts on X, under the username @Severd_Head, claiming to have Rupnow’s manifesto, and police said they are seeking to contact him. The X profile has now been made private.

The boyfriend says they had only met online, but never in person, and had known each other for two years.

Prominent X user @Slatzism of the conservative news site REDUXX announced in Monday evening that the alleged boyfriend had given access to the still unconfirmed manifesto.

@Slatzism first pointed to an X account allegedly belonging to Rupnow.  The header image on the account is of a church on fire.  The account was just created this month.  Posts were made on Dec. 7 and Dec. 13. One features animated video footage of a person holding a sword.  Another features someone shooting a gun, then getting shot.

At 10:45 a.m. Monday morning, an image was posted of a person in a bathroom stall.

At 10:50 a.m. a link was posted for a GoogleDoc file, which is allegedly the shooter’s manifesto.  However, the poster presumedly forgot to make the document publicly accessible.

At 10:57 a.m., a second-grade teacher called 911 to report a shooting at the school.

@Slatzism shared the following in a series of posts on X, along with screenshots of the alleged manifesto:

I have made contact with the alleged boyfriend of the Wisconsin shooter.

He has very graciously provided me the full manifesto, which I verified by having him screen record himself opening it from a direct link the shooter sent to him via WhatsApp.

I told him I would do my best to dispel some of the misinformation and present things as truthfully as I was given them, and I will hold myself to that.

– Her boyfriend knew her as Samantha Rupnow.

– She also went by a different name (one which was also feminine), but adopted the name “Samantha” and this was the name her boyfriend says she had on her school identification card.

– She was a student at Abundant Life.

– She was born on November 7, 2009.

– She was born female and was not transgender. Her boyfriend was born male and is not transgender.

– Her manifesto was titled “War Against Humanity.”

– Her manifesto is 6 pages long.

– In her manifesto, she spoke about having extremely difficult relationship with her parents, who she referred to as “scum.”

– She also claims her family didn’t love her or want her, and expresses feeling like the “wrong child” of her family.

– She says she had planned to commit suicide a long time ago, but felt committing a shooting was “better for evolution rather than just one stupid boring suicide.”

– She expresses deep admiration for Pekka Eric Auvinen, Arda Küçükyetim, and Vladislav Roslyakov.

– She offered particular praise for Küçükyetim, who was a Turkish neo-nazi who committed a mass attack in Eskişehir earlier this year, and stated he was an inspiration to her. She calls him “an ultimate saint.”

– She expressed that she got the weapons to commit the attack through “lies, manipulation, and my father’s stupidity.”

In the interim….

Her boyfriend says the photo that is making the rounds is not how he remembers her, and believes it was somewhat edited “to make her look worse.”

He provided me a photo of her in the same t-shirt and room.
