After President Donald Trump kicked an arrogant Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy out of the White House on Friday, a Norwegian fuel company, Haltbakk Bunkers, has released a statement declaring they will deny fuel to U.S. Navy ships.
From the UK Defence Journal: Norwegian fuel company Haltbakk Bunkers has announced it will cease supplying fuel to U.S. military forces in Norway and American ships docking in Norwegian ports, citing dissatisfaction with recent U.S. policy towards Ukraine.
In a strongly worded statement, the company criticised a televised event involving U.S. President Donald Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance, referring to it as the “biggest shitshow ever presented live on TV.”
Haltbakk Bunkers praised Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for his restraint, accusing the U.S. of “putting on a backstabbing TV show” and declaring that the spectacle “made us sick.”
As a result, the company stated: “We have decided to immediately STOP as fuel provider to American forces in Norway and their ships calling Norwegian ports. No Fuel to Americans!” Haltbakk Bunkers also urged Norwegians and Europeans to follow their lead, concluding their statement with the slogan “Slava Ukraina” in support of Ukraine.
The report explains that this could get complicated, as “Norway is a key NATO member and frequently hosts U.S. and allied forces for joint exercises and Arctic defence operations.”
Haltbakk’s CEO, Gunnar Gran, reportedly told Norwegian maritime news site Kystens Næringsliv, “As you probably understand, not a liter will be delivered until Trump is finished. We run a private limited company and choose our customers!”
It appears that the corporate statement has since been deleted from the company’s Facebook page, but screenshots have been shared all across social media.

Norwegian Defense Minister Tore Sandvik rushed to try to salvage the situation, releasing the following statement:
We have seen reports raising concerns about support for US Navy vessels in Norway. This is not in line with the Norwegian government’s policy. I can confirm that all requested support has been provided. The U.S. and Norway maintain a close and strong defense cooperation. American forces will continue to receive the supply and support they require from Norway.

🚨Update: Haltbakk Bunkers deleted the prior post on Facebook refusing to allow U.S Navy to refuel at their port.
Seems someone addressed it.
However, many of us screenshot that Facebook post.. so we now know how they feel and what they wanted to do.🤷🏻♀️ pic.twitter.com/lbI8o9eJHk

The oil company Haltbakk bunker in Norway is now refusing to sell fuel to US navy vessels and US forces.
“No fuel for the Americans” the company said.
They are boycotting the USA because of Trump’s meeting with Zelensky which they called “nauseating”.
This is crazy.

As a former American Air Force pilot who flew under both the NATO flag and the UN flag, it’s important for the American public to understand that we (the US) are the military power of those organizations. Without us, they have nothing. Trump has the leverage, the EU has nothing.…

What you saw between Trump and Zelensky is why you don’t give hundreds of billions of American tax dollars to foreign countries. It’s also time to get out of NATO and the UN. Let the grifters hate us for free

Do Europeans think we don’t know they disrespect us? Look down on us? Think they’re better for us? I love Europe, but it is run by snotty children. This kind of behavior makes us want to get us the hell out of NATO. Go defend yourself, Europe. We’re sick of you ingrates.
