From the New York Post: Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Thursday that the long-awaited cease-fire deal is on hold because of a “last-minute crisis” — as Israel shared a new video of Hamas boasting of its “pride” at the Oct. 7 terror attack and threats of ongoing violence.
Netanyahu delayed his cabinet voting Thursday on approving the historic deal, accusing Hamas of “a last-minute blackmail attempt.”
“Israel will not set a date for a cabinet and government meeting until the mediators announce that Hamas has approved all the details of the agreement,” his office said.
In part, that included the terror group objecting to a part of the agreement that gave Israel the right to refuse the release of certain Palestinian prisoners accused of murders.
“Hamas is demanding that it determine the identity of the terrorists to be released,” Netanyahu’s office said in a statement, vowing to stand firm on the earlier agreement.
A senior Hamas official, Izzat al-Rashq, denied Netanyahu’s claim, insisting they are still “committed” to the ceasefire and hostage exchange agreement announced on Wednesday.
However, a video of remarks by another Hamas leaders proves the terror group is not one bit sorry for their Oct. 7, 2023 attack, and are defiantly vowing to continue their mission.
Israeli diplomat David Saranga sounded the alarm Thursday morning as he re-posted a video of the Hamas leader’s speech and wrote, “After the hostages deal announcement, Hamas leader Khalil al-Haya’s speech live from Qatar. He expressed pride in the Oct. 7th massacre and has promised to do it again. This terrorist group cannot be left intact.”
In the speech, al-Haya praised their martyrs, and declared, “To them and to our people, we say: Blessed are your trades, our leaders and martyrs. It is indeed a trade with Allah that will never fail. And we will continue along the path of our martyr leaders until victory or martyrdom, Allah willing.”
“Its impact will continue, Allah willing, even after the battle ends. What occurred on October 7—a miraculous military and security achievement by the elite Qassam Brigades—will remain a source of pride for our people and resistance, passed down through generations. It struck the heart of the enemy and will lead, Allah willing, to the restoration of all our rights,” the terror group leader also vowed.

In other breaking news, the Israel Defense Forces just now announced that one of the terrorists who participated in the October 7, 2023 massacre has just been taken out in an airstrike.
The IDF wrote in a social media post:
Muhammad Hasham Zahedi Abu Al-Rus, a Nukhba terrorist who infiltrated Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, and participated in the massacre at the Nova Music Festival, was eliminated overnight in an intelligence-based strike.
Additionally, the IAF conducted strikes on approx. 50 terrorist targets across Gaza over the last day, including Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists, military compounds, weapons storage facilities, launch posts, weapons manufacturing sites, and observation posts.
Before the strikes, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harming civilians and civilian infrastructure, including the use of aerial surveillance, precise munitions, and additional intelligence.
The Hamas terrorist organization continues to exploit the civilian population in order to carry out terror attacks against Israel, violating international law. The IDF will continue to operate against the threat of these terrorist organizations.
