From KTLA.com: An Anaheim man is facing a federal charge after he allegedly wrote on social media that he’d planted pipe bombs at Disneyland ahead of a visit by Vice President J.D. Vance and his family.
Marco Antonio Aguayo is accused of writing threatening Instagram comments on Disney’s page on July 12, 2025, the same day the second family visited the resort.
“Pipe bombs have been placed in preparation for J.D. Vance’s arrival,” he allegedly wrote, as detailed by prosecutors in a federal complaint first reported by Seamus Hughes’ Court Watch.
He then added “It’s time for us to rise up and you will be a witness to it” and “Good luck finding all of them on time there will be bloodshed tonight and we will bathe in the blood of corrupt politicians,” the complaint says.
The report explains that Aguayo first denied he made the threatening comments when the Secret Service first confronted him, then later admitted it but claimed it was only a joke and that he “forgot” to delete it.
