Texas Gov. Greg Abbott recently launched a billboard campaign warning illegal aliens they will be arrested if they come across the border.  But it’s going to take a lot more than billboards to stop this mob.

Below is an excerpt from a report by the New York Post: Knife-wielding Tren de Aragua gang members are mobbing border crossings at El Paso, Texas, in an attempt to break into the US — and have said they will attack border guards who try to stop them, according to a shocking Texas law enforcement memo leaked to The Post.

Last week, 20 of the Venezuelan gangbangers — armed with blades, tire irons and broken liquor bottles — tried to force their way into the US at a border gate, the missive from the Texas Department of Public Safety read.

Another attempt to break through is expected on New Year’s Day, the memo warned.

The brutal prison gang is becoming increasingly desperate to salt more members into the US before President-elect Donald Trump takes over, said Victor Avila, a retired agent for Homeland Security Investigations.

An anonymous informant reportedly alerted Texas authorities that the gang would continued their violent border rushes every night around 3:00 a.m.

The tipster said the gang intends to “cause harm” to the Texas National Guard soldiers who are stationed there — “especially when they are left alone with no agents” to help them.

According to a Texas law enforcement source “gunfire has picked up big time” along the El Paso border in recent days, as border authorities have been firing pepperballs at the groups trying to breach the border.

The NY Post explains that the Tren de Aragua gang is using El Paso as a ‘headquarters,’ as many members cross into the border town and then spread out into other areas of the U.S., including New York City and Aurora, Colorado.

Additional, according to Avila, the gang has “teamed up” with cartels on the Mexican side of the border to facilitate their smuggling operations.

In September, it was reported that the Venezuelan TdA gang had taken over a hotel in El Paso.

News Nation journalist Ali Bradley announced in October:

“La Barbie” —A 38-year-old woman linked to Tren de Aragua #TdA has been charged with human trafficking for allegedly drugging a woman so men could pay to have sex with her at an El Paso hotel.

The Gateway Hotel was recently closed following an injunction citing gang activity and a prostitution ring operating there—Governor Abbott says 20 suspected TdA gang members were arrested as a result of operations in and around the hotel.

In March, a huge mob of illegal aliens violently rushed the border in El Paso, attacking and plowing right over Texas National Guard agents who were trying to hold them back.
